This interactive dashboard is a summary of state, territory, and local fire department National Fire Incident Reporting System (NFIRS) data that has been submitted to the national database. NFIRS is a reporting standard that fire departments use to uniformly report on the full range of their activities.
Available downloadable NFIRS Public Data Release (PDR) files are available on Annual NFIRS Public Data. The dashboard utilizes NFIRS PDR and pre-processed PDR data, raw data, as reported by the U.S fire service.
